Common questions

No video in the list. Start playing the video first, then open Castmate again. Some players only load the stream once playback starts.
The TV doesn't show up. Your computer and TV need to be on the same network, and the TV needs Google Cast built in (Chromecast, Google TV and most Android TVs).
"DRM protected". Protected streams, which most paid streaming services use, can only be cast with that service's own app or Cast button.
The TV starts, then stops. Some sites only serve their video to their own pages, so the TV is refused. Those videos can't be cast this way.
